Juice Newton grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She knew at a young age that she wanted to be an entertainer. Juice’s mother bought her a guitar and at the age of 13, Juice taught herself how to play.
Later, when she was older, Juice moved to California and met a man who would play a pivotal role in her life and her music. His name was Otha Young. Otha was Juice’s best friend and played in her band, wrote many of her songs and managed her career.
Juice is a Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist with a passion for music and entertaining. Her talent and dedication have made her a household name. Juice has a unique ability to connect with her audience through her powerful vocal range and humor. Juice won a Grammy Award for Best Vocal Performance for the song “Break It To Me Gently” and has been nominated for other Grammies along the way.
Juice’s other passion is horses. She enjoys all aspects of the horse industry and loves to ride as she is accomplished equestrian.
Juice topped the charts in the spring of 1981 with her crossover hit “Angel of The Morning” and she continued to dominate the airwaves on both Country and Pop music radio.
Juice is indebted to her fans for her long stellar career. She has never forgotten them or taken them for granted.
Juice has two children Jessica and Tyler.
Juice continued to record and tour until 2020. Currently, she is enjoying family life and her horses in San Diego, California.
